About the Event
On 25 June, the Living Library event in Prague, dedicated to the theme of gender equality, takes place at Impact Hub Prague, organised by HUB Mladá Boleslav. The Prague edition puts a spotlight on everyday gender roles and the people who quietly challenge them — an opportunity for meeting, listening and open dialogue.
The event is part of the European project COTAF – Connected Towns for a Shared Future (funded under the CERV – Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme of the European Commission), which promotes intercultural dialogue and active participation through the direct involvement of local communities.
The Format
The Living Library is a participatory format that originated in Denmark and has since spread across Europe: the “living books” are real people who share their stories with readers in short, authentic one-to-one conversations, breaking down prejudice and opening space for mutual understanding.
