About the Event

Voices of Migration: Belonging and Inclusion

The second Living Library in Bologna explores migration, inclusion and the meaning of belonging

On 2 July 2026, Fondazione Yunus Italia will host the second Living Library event of the COTAF - Connected Towns for a Shared Future project, bringing together citizens, stakeholders, local actors and people with migrant backgrounds for an open dialogue on inclusion, participation and belonging.

Titled “Voices of Migration: Belonging and Inclusion”, the event will focus on the experiences of migrants living in Bologna and the diverse realities that shape their everyday lives. Through personal stories and direct conversations, participants will have the opportunity to explore themes such as identity, integration, recognition and participation in local communities.

Using the Living Library methodology, visitors will engage directly with Living Books who will share their experiences, perspectives and aspirations. These conversations aim to foster mutual understanding, challenge stereotypes and create opportunities for meaningful encounters…
