Lesvos Living Library:
"Refugee Women, Resilience & Rights - A Living Library Exhibition"

This exhibition presents personal mental life maps made by refugee and migrant women living on Lesvos. Each map is a hand-drawn visualisation of its author's journey, created as part of the sociocultural integration courses at the Ergon Vocational and Integration Academy on Lesvos, run by Movement on the Ground, a humanitarian organisation working alongside displaced communities in Greece since 2015.

The mental life map methodology gives each narrator full authorship over what she shares. Participants choose their own topics, their own images, their own words. The maps cover a wide range of experiences: displacement and arrival, family and motherhood, identity, faith, education, and the daily realities of building a life somewhere new.

Visitors are invited to move through the exhibition, read each map, and take time to sit with the stories they find there.
